Dear Mr. Radeiow:
Puisuant to your request and authorization, EEI has performed a geoteclmical review of the referenced
grading plans and details (Fuscoe, 2011), which include proposed MSE retaining walls and details. The
purpose of our review is to check that the plans and details have been prepared in accordance with the
geotechnical recommendations contained in our referenced reports (EEl, 2010a; 2010b; 2011a and
2011b), to evaluate whether the proposed grades have significantly changed from what was originally
assumed during our initial geotechnical evaluation, and to see whether revisions to our geotechnical
recommendations may be warranted, based on the information and design grades shown on the grading
plans.
Based on our review, it is our opinion that the referenced grading plans and details properly incorporate
the geotechnical recommendations contained in our refeienced reports and addenda.
Limitations
This letter has been conducted in accordance with generally accepted geotechnical engineering principles
and practices. Findings provided herein have been derived in accordance with the cuirent standards of
practice, and no warranty is expressed or implied. Standards of piactice are subject to change with time.
This letter has been prepared for the sole use of Sudberry Properties, Inc. (Client) within a reasonable
time from its authorization. This letter should not be relied upon by other parties without the express
written consent of EEI and the Client. This letter contains information which may be used in the
