The document you submitted titled "LEGOLAND California Parking Plan Overview", dated
October 1998 has been reviewed by staff of the Planning and Engineering Departments. The
plan satisfies the requirements of condition number 24 of Planning Commission Resolution
Number 4083 and has been approved as submitted. '

r PARKING PLAN OVERVIEW

• TOLLBOTHS WILL OPEN 1&1/2 HOURS PRIOR TO PARK
OPENING. IF CARS ARRIVE PRIOR TO THAT TIME, THEY WILL
BE STAGED IN THE TOLLBOOTH LANES.
• WHEN THE CARS ARE PARKED, THEY WILL BE DIRECTED BY
THE PARKERS TO THE FRONT ROW OF THE LOT ON THE SIDE
CLOSEST TO THE WALKWAY. THE EXCEPTION TO THIS IS
LOT E. WHEN THE CARS BEGIN PARKING, THEY WILL
CONTINUE IN A ZIGZAG PATTERN. THE PARKING WILL FLOW
SO THAT GUESTS ARE NEVER WALKING IN THE PATH OF
ONCOMING CARS. :
• LOT A WILL BE THE 1ST LOT PARKED, FOLLOWED BY LOTS B,
C, D, E, AND F.
• ON LOW ATTENDANCE DAYS, THE LOTS WILL BE PARKED
ONE AT A TIME.
• ON HIGH ATTENDANCE DAYS, SPLIT PARKING WILL BE
UTILIZED:
• THE 1ST SPLIT WILL BE PARKING LOTS A&B.
• THE 2ND SPLIT WILL BE PARKING LOTS B&C.
• THE 3RD SPLIT WILL BE PARKING LOTS C&D.
• THE 4™ SPLIT WILL BE PARKING LOTS D&E.
• THE 5™ SPLIT WILL BE PARKING LOTS E&F.

• IF THE ENTRANCE FLOW IS FffiAVY ENOUGH, LOTS A,B&C
CAN BE SPLIT PARKED, AS WELL AS LOTS C,D&E.
SPLIT PARKING IS BASED ON THE VOLUME OF ENTRANCE
FLOW, AND WILL BE DISCONTINUED ONCE THE FLOW HAS
SLOWED DOWN TO AN ACCEPTABLE LEVEL. THIS DECISION
WILL BE MADE BY THE PARKING LOT LEAD OR THE
ADMISSIONS SUPERVISOR.
