Accompanying this transmittal are the 2nd Dwelling Unit permit applications for Village G of
Rancho Carrillo. As you are aware, the same floor plan (Floor Plan 4) that was previously
approved for Village G is being used for these units.
For the two units being constructed in Phase 2, the floor plans will be modified to eliminate the
kitchen facilities in the second dwelling unit. Therefore, this would allow the City to issue
building permits for these units prior to the approval of the 2nd Dwelling Unit permits. As
discussed with you previously, it is Continental's goal to pull building permits for these two units
within the next 30 days. It is our understanding that it will take longer than this time frame to
process these 2nd Dwelling Unit applications. Once the 2nd Dwelling Unit permits have been
approved, we will process a construction change to allow for the kitchen units to be put in.
