SUBJECT: Request for Second Dwelling Unit

CASE NAME: Magnolia Subdivision
We received your notice of request for second dwelling unit.
As residents of 1040 Magnolia Ave, Carlsbad we protest the granting
of an additional permit for a Second Dwelling Unit to allow a 436 square
foot attached second dwelling unit on property located at 1180 Magnolia Ave.
We attended the original City Council meetings for proposal of this project.
The final plans from the City Planning Dept. approved a maximum of two Second
Dwelling Units.
For clarification purposes, we agree with the original approval of a maximum of
two Second Dwelling Units.
We protest the approval by the City for any future additional Second
Dwelling permits .
