Is this lot in an area zoned for single family residences? k Do the new regulations for granny housing actually mean separate structures can be built which constitute two two residences on single family lots?' If not, what is the difference between single family residential zones and current granny housing provisions? Are there any regulations which affect the conversion of a -! L I I single family residence currently one story to two stories? ' ' I have heard, but not verified the intent of the applicant to build an apartment over an extra size garage as a rental unit. If it is true that the lot is undersized for a split or for two dwellings and if it is true that a second residence is contemplated above the garage, is not the city violating its own zones and regulations if it grants $his application? If it is the intention of the city to convert this area to 1 rental properties, will the city widen Adams Street to i accomodate the increased traffic?
