RE: SDU 97 - 01, KELLETT SECOND DWELLING UNIT
We have completed our review of the second dwelling development permit
identified above. The proposed secondary dwelling unit is acceptable from an
Engineering standpoint provided that vehicle access to the proposed guarage is
provided. Technically, the turn radius from Cal-Trans and other standards do not
fit in the proposed space provided. I have met with Mr. Kellett at the front
counter, shown him the proper turn maneuvers and have made some
suggestions or ideas to help him resolve this issue.
From an Engineering standpoint, the application is considered
complete and we have only one issue to resolve at this time. To save
time and further processing, we are working with the Kellet’s and
hope to have resolution soon and let this project move forward.
