COMPLETENESS REVIEW AND INITIAL ISSUES STATEMENT
FRANKLIN MOTHER-IN-LAW SECOND DWELLING UNIT, AP 97-13
The Engineering Department has completed its review of the subject project for application
completeness. The application and plans submitted for this project are complete and suitable
for continued engineering review
In addition, the Engineering Department made a preliminary review of the project for
Engineering issues. Engineering issues which need to be resolved or adequately addressed
prior to conditioning of the project are as follows:
1. The plans are to include provisions for construction of a 3' wide brow ditch on top of the
proposed retaining wall.
2. When submitting for building permit, please include a geotechnical report that includes
an analysis and design of the retaining wall, including methods for preventing moisture
from seeping or migrating through the wall.
