PROJECT NAME: Village J and Q-1 Second Units
APPLICANT NAME: uM3
This application is for a Second Dwelling Unit Administrative Permit for second units in Village J
and Q-1 of Rancho Carrillo. Nine second units are proposed; 6 in Village J and 3 in Village Q-1.
As shown on the enclosed Site Plan, the units are proposed for lots 6,23,28,43,53, & 61 of
Village J (CT 93-01) and on lots 44,72, & 77 of Village Q (CT 93-04). All lots in both Village J
and Village Q-1 are larger than 7500 square feet. The Floor Plans and Elevations that
accompanies this application shows the design of the unit.
The rental price of each second unit shall not exceed the rate as established by the City of
Carlsbad for a 80% low income household. Currently, as shown on the Rental Rate Calculations
Chart accompanying this application, for a family of two, the maximum rental rate is $797.00.

as an existing owner-occupied single family detached dwelling unit and is:

eating, sanitation and sleeping;
b. Occupied by one or more persons: and
C. Subordinate to the main dweIling unit.
2. The Propep Owner(s) listed above hereby cenifies that hejshe owns the above referenced propeq,
as of the date of this afildai.it, and to hisher belief and knowledge. there are no conditions,
covenants or resmctions on the propep prohibiting a second dwelling unit apanment.
