SUBJECT: PUBLIC NOTIFICATION FOR SDU 99-01
Greg:
As we discussed on the phone, the three hundred foot notification for SDU 99-01 would include
only three property owners, namely Monarch Communities, Continental Ranch, and the City of
Carlsbad. All three of these property owners are already aware of the application. In an effort to
avoid an unnecessary delay in the processing of this application, both Monarch Communities and
Continental Ranch Inc. have agreed to inform the City that they have no issues with the project
and that they do not need to be noticed that the application is in process. Subsequently, enclosed
please find the following:
0 A 300' radius map;
A letter from Lawyers Title Company listing the property owners within the 300' radius
map;
0 A memo signed by Gordon Craig stating Monarch Communities does not need to be
formally noticed regarding SDU 99-01; and,
0 A memo signed by Dave Lother stating Continental Ranch, Inc. does not need to be
formally noticed regarding SDU 99-01.
I hope that this will satisfy the City regarding the three hundred foot notification for SDU 99-01
and that the project will not be unnecessarily delayed. If you have any questions or need any
