The Floor Plans and Elevations have already been reviewed by City Staff, and the model has been previously approved for Village Q-I (SDU 98-24, 25, 27, & 28). The rental price of the'second unit will not exceed the rate as established by the City of Carlsbad for a 80% low income household. Currently, as shown on the rental rate calculations chart accompanying this application, for a family of two, the maximum rental rate is $840.00. The Property Owner(s) agree to rent the Second Dwelling Unit at a monthly rental rate which shall not exceed an amount equal to 30% of the gross monthly income of a low-income household, adjusted for household size, at 80% of the San Diego County median income. e.
