As homeowners for 22 years on Magnolia Ave. we request the denial of granting a permit to allow a
second dwelling unit of 41 8 square feet on the property identified above.
It is not necessary to provide an affordable dwelling unit. The City has already approved the building
of nine houses. The parking for the custom homes will be for residents, not rental property.
With the current HUD development in Carlsbad, it is not necessary to create the need for another
occupancy control monitoring project.
All neighbors on Magnolia Ave. have expressed the same opinion.
We appreciate your support in denial of this proposed second dwelling unit.
