Our district has reviewed the proposed 201-unit residential development
generally located between Lowder Lane and Palomar Airport Road and east
of Interstate 5 as referenced above and have evaluated the impact of
that development on the facilities of our district.
Please be informed that our district is able to assure you that school
facilities and services will be available concurrent with need for this
development as it is presently proposed.

SUBJECT: PROPOSED LANDSCAPING AND IRRIGATION PLAN FOR
SLOPE AREAS
The following conditions.should apply to the items listed
below:
1. Agenda Bill #2207 - Cabot, Cabot & Forbes(bexje.Te
2. Agenda Bill #3182 - Barrie F. Chase
i. Agenda Bill #3213 - Carrillo Estates
4. Agenda Bill #3215 - Standard Pacific
Condition No. 1; The applicant shall submit a landscaping
and irrigation plan to the City Engineer for those slope
areas and landscaping areas which are adjacent to proposed
public rights-of-way for his approval prior to the approval
of the final subdivision grading plan. Said plan shall
include a statement of installation phasing, and shall in-
clude landscaping that will satisfy erosion and fire hazard
controls.
Condition No. 2: The applicant or his successor in interest
shan maintain ali landscaping to the satisfaction of the City
Engineer and Parks and Recreation Director. Successor in
interest shall mean owner of record or applicable property
owner's association.
The conditions as worded represent the context of conditions
contained in approving resolutions of Tentative Map Extension
for Cabot, Cabot & Forbes and Barrie F. Chase. The same
conditions should be added in the approving resolutions for
Tentative Map Extension for Carrillo Estates and Standard
Pacific.

As per our discussion yesterday, it is our intention to re-design
the condominiums in Unit #3 of Altamira. The new design will be
39 units less in density. We are revising the architecture so that
we can better meet the market demands for this product. The units
will be stacked tri-levels and townhouses. All will be larger in
square footage than the present condominiums. The architecture
will be similar to the existing, i.e., red tile roofs and stucco.
Please advise what is involved in processing these changes for
approval from the city.
Also, we will be coming in shortly with new plans for the duplexes
in Unit #2. These are very similar to what is there now, and
therefore, I can foresee no problems.
I am looking forward to hearing from you regarding the above at
your earliest convenience.
