Primary ingress and egress will be taken from the primary entrance approved with the Grant appli- cation. Emergency access only will be provided by a 25 foot controlled access from Laguna Drive to the motel complex. Additionally, Grand Avenue at this time will be utilized as a point of emergency access only. Zoning in the area is R-l and R-3 to the west, and R-3 (Specific Plan) to the north. The neighborhood is primarily residential with several new multiple family units either constructed or under construction on Laguna Drive to the west. All signing for the motel will be subject to the City of Carlsbad Sign Ordinance as it applies to Freeway Service Facilities.
