Description/Explanation.
The District completed the Operations Center in January 1990. The
Center features 12,750 sq. feet of tilt up type permanent building
and 5,250 sq. feet of refurbished maintenance building. The total
site was graded and award winning xeriscape landscaping installed.
The District's Operation, Maintenance, Engineering, Finance and
Administration Departments presently pres"ide at the Center. The
Sanitation Supe~intendent and Secretary presently also reside at
the Center. The last step to make us a fully functional utility
division is to move the sanitation/maintenance personnel to the
Operations Center.
~ The District proposes placing a 960 sq. foot temporary modular
trailer on the site. It will feature individual work and locker
spaces, bathroom/shower facilities and two offices for supervisor
and foreman. The modular will be constructed so as to match the
present exterior of the existing building. Lastly, the irrigation
and landscape shall be revamped to allow for the placement of
this modular trailer.
