SUBJECT: V 01-03 -TAMARACK MANOR VARIANCE
Dear Jeffrey and Anastasia:
The above-referenced application was deemed complete for processing on
October 5, 2001. According to State Law, a project must be heard by the final
decision-making body within six (6) months of the application complete date (in
this case, April 5, 2002). This six-month timeline may be extended by request of
the applicant for a maximum of three (3) months (in this case July 5, 2002).
The Tamarack Manor Variance project, as submitted, has several issues (please
refer to September 25, 2001 City correspondence for AV 01-04). In addition,
given the submitted information the Planning Department is not in agreement that
the findings required for the granting of a variance can be met. All issues must
be resolved before scheduling a project for approval before the Planning
Commission.
No project submittals have been received since October 2001. Therefore, the
above-referenced project has been scheduled for the next available Planning
Commission hearing, that being August 7, 2002. Should you wish to augment
your application in an attempt to address the outstanding issues and support
your variance findings justifications, there materials must be received prior to July
1 1, 2002. Please contact me at (760) 602-4623 if you have any questions.
Sincerely, - '/
