Mr. Serab,
The purpose of this letter is to follow up on our previous discussion regarding your
variance application. During our June 4th, 2002 phone conversation, you stated that the
corrected plans for the variance would be submitted within a months time. It is currently
July 30th, and as of today the City has not received the corrections.
It is in your best interest to provide all relevant information to the Planning Commission so
that they may make an informed judgment on the requested variance. However, we
currently have enough information to take the case forward to the Commission with a
recommendation of denial. Please submit the required corrections to the Planning
Department by August 13th, or the case will scheduled for hearing using the previously
submitted plans.
Also, please be aware that the suspension of code enforcement action is contingent upon
your good faith attempt to obtain a legal variance for your illegal structures. If the plans are
not received by the aforementioned date, the case will be referred back to code
enforcement for further action.
