RE: V-374 (Atlantic Richfield Monument Sign)
Dear Mr. Kalinak:
Following our meeting of October 24, 1986, concerning ARCO's
requested sign variance, it is staff's position that the request
cannot be supported. As was indicated in our meeting, this sign
is in conflict with applicable standards (both planning and
engineering). The findings necessary for support of this
variance cannot be made.
Your options regarding further processing of this request
include :
(1) withdrawal of the application,
(2) redesign of the sign to be in conformance with
(3) staff will take the application forward with a
City's standards, or
recommendation for denial.
