TO: THE CITY OF CARLSBAD PLANNING DEPARTMENT.
We have reviewed the variance request for the Nessim residence on the northwest
corner of Carlsbad Village Drive and Highland Drive.
We support the Planning Department's position that the non-conformity of the
existing house should not be expanded.
While it would be beneficial to all of us who live in the area to have the existing
house aesthetically upgraded, this should be accomplished through an expansion
o-story regulations.
