Legislative Program Update
This memorandum provides an update on legislative program activity, including monitoring and
advocacy of priority state and federal legislation identified by the City Council. In addition to the
activity described below, staff have developed an internal legislative tracking tool, established a bi-
weekly coordination call and maintained frequent communications to receive advice and status
updates from California Strategies. Beginning next week, the City Council will be receiving a regular
legislative update to be produced by California Strategies every two weeks.
The following provides a brief update on the City Council's priority and other state and federal
legislation:
