This memo focuses on actions and information that are new since the last update. Emergency Operations Center • Emergency Operations Center activated to support COVID-19 mitigation and response operations and information sharing. Regional status of outbreak (All data from April 29, 5 p.m.) California San Diego County Carlsbad Confirmed cases 46,507 3,432 52 Increase from previous day 1,010 118 1 Deaths 1,810 120 n/a* *Data not reported Human Resources • Status of employees with possible COVID-19 exposure (no change since 4/28/20): Cleared to return to work 40 Self-quarantined due to symptoms, have not been tested 0 Police Department • Issued five new citations over the past day for violations of the CMC section for accessing closed parks, beaches and trails bringing the total to date to 90.
