This memo focuses on actions and information that are new since the last update. Emergency Operations Center • Emergency Operations Center activated to support COVID-19 mitigation and response operations and information sharing. Regional status of outbreak (All data from June 9 at 5 p.m.) California County Carlsbad Confirmed cases 136,191 8,729 86 Increase from last memo 7,379 253 2 Deaths 4,776 301 n/a Human Resources • Status of employees with possible COVID-19 exposure is unchanged: all 45 employees who may have been exposed have been cleared to return to work. Cleared to return to work 45 Self-quarantined while waiting for test results 1 Library & Cultural Arts • All three Carlsbad library locations are now open for contactless curbside service. Appointments are required. Patrons can make appointments once they receive notice that their reserved materials are available for pick up.
