Notice is hereby given that
an election is to be held in the
City of Carlsbad on July 28,
1959, at which there will be sub-
mitted to the qualified electors
of said city the following city
measures:
PROPOSITION S
BONDS:
Shall the City of Carlsbad incur
| a bonded indebtedness in the
principal sum of $1,200,000 for
the acquisition and construction
by said city of a certain muni-
|Cipal improvement, to wit: ad-
ditions to the sanitary sewage
collection, treatment and dispo-
sal system of said city, includ-
ing interceptor and trunk sew-
ers, ocean outfall sewer, pump-
ing stations, new sewage treat-
ment plants, additions to the
existing treatment plant, and
for the foregoing appurtenances
and works appurtenant thereto,
including the acquisition of all
land, easements, rights of way,pipe, pumps, machinery anc
other property necessary there-for?

Shall the ordinance, the

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIV-
en that pursuant to Article 4,
Shall the City of Carlsbad in-
cur a bonded indebtedness in
the principal sum of $155,000 for
[ the acquisition and construction
by said city of a certain muni-
cipal improvement, to wit:
storm drains with appurtenan-
j ces and appurtenant work, in-
cluding the acquisition of land,
easements, rights of way, ap-
paratus, equipment and other
property necessary therefor?
PROPOSITION H - STREET
IMPROVEMENT BONDS:
Shall the City of Carlsbad in-
cur a bonded indebtedness in
the principal sum of $500,000 to
pay a portion of the cost of the
acquisition and construction by
said city of a certain municipal! fSEAL)

California the legislative body of
said city, or any member or
members thereof authorized by!
such body, or any individual
voter or bona fide association
of citizens, or any combination
of such voters and associations,
may file written arguments, not
to exceed 300 words in length,
for or against each said city
measure.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIV-
en that, based upon the time
reasonably necessary to prepare
and print the arguments and
sample ballots for said election,
the City Clerk has fixed 5:00
o'clock p.m., on June 30, 1959,
as a reasonable date prior to
such election after which no
arguments for or against said
city measures may be submit-
ted to said Clerk for printing
and distribution to the voters as
provided in said Article 4. Argu-
ments shall be submitted to the i
City Clerk at 2960 Pio Pico
Drive, Carlsbad, California. Ar-1
guments may be changed until
and including said date fixed by
the City Clerk.
