CALIFORNIA, ORDERING,
CALLING, PROVIDING FOR
AND GIVING NOTICK OF A
SPECIAL ELECTION TO 8E

JANUARY 18, 1986, FOR
THE PURPOSE OF SUB-
MITTING TO THE QUALI-
FIED VOTERS OF SAID
CITY A PROPOSITION
TO INCUR BONDED IN-
DEBTEDNESS BY SAID
CITY FOR A CERTAIN
MUNICIPAL
IMPROVEMENT
WHEREAS, at a meeting
held prior to the meeting
, at which this ordinance is
, adopted the City Council, by
a vote of at least two-thirds oi
. the members thereof, adopted
, a resolution determining that
, the public interest and neces-
, sity demand the acquisition
, and construction of a certain
, municipal improvement, and
making findings relating
thereto;
NOW, THEREFORE, the
City Council of the City of
Carlsbad, California, DOES
ORDAIN as follows:
Section 1. That a special
election be held and the same
is hereby called to be held
in said city on January 18,
1906, for the purpose of sub-
mitting to the qualified voters
mat -
terest for the first year may
be made payable at the end
of said year.
Section 4. That the polls tor
I said election shall be opened; at seven o'clock A.M. of the
day of said election and shall
deface thiS ballot, return it
to the '•• inspector of election
and obtain another.
On absent voter ballots mark
a cross (+) with pen or pen-
cil.
BOND PROPOSI-TION: Shall theCity of Carlsbadincur a bondedindebtedness in
the principal a-mount of $295,000for the purpose of
the acquistion andconstruction bysaid city of a cer-tain municipal im-
provement, to wit:the constructionof a building to
house the munici-
pal library of saidcity and the ac-quisition of all
furniture, furnish-ings, fixtures andequipment neces-sary for said li-
brary building1?
