Under the provisions of the California Elections Code Section 18502,
notice is hereby given that a recount has been ordered of those votes
cast on June k, 197*+, in the Special Election to fill a vacancy on the
City Council in the City of Carlsbad. This Special Election was consoli-
dated with the Direct Primary Election held June h, 197^. Proper decla-
ration having been filed with this office, the recount will be commenced
at 8 a.m., July 8, 197^-j and will continue daily for at least 6 hours,
as required by law, until completion. The recount will be held at the
office of the Registrar of Voters, Building 1, County Operations Center,
5555 Overland Avenue, San Diego.
