I, CHARLES J. SEXTON, Registrar of Voters of the County of Sen Diego,
do hereby certify that under the provisions of the California Elec-
tions Code, Division 12, Part 2, Chapter 2, Article 6, I have con-
ducted a recount of the votes cast in the Special Election to fill
a vacancy on the City Council in the City of Carlsbad. This Special
Election was consolidated with the Direct Primary Election held
June k, 1971*. Proper declaration having been filed with this office,
the recount was conducted on July 8, 19?!*, and the foregoing is a
complete copy of all of the returns of said recount.
