NINGUNOS ARGUMENTOS PRO 0 CONTRA UN PROYECTO MUNICIPAL
PUEDEN SER SOMETIDOS AL SECRETARIO MUNICIPAL)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Special Municipal Election is to be held in
the City of Carlsbad on November 7, 1978, at which there will be submitted to the
qualified electors of said City the following measure:
PROPOSITION 1. Do the qualified electors of the City
of Carlsbad, pursuant to Article XXXIV of the Constitution
of the State of California, approve the development,
construction, and acquisition of low rent housing projects
on scattered sites within the City of Carlsbad for persons
of low income including but not limited to low income
elderly or low income disabled persons.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that pursuant to Article 4, Chapter 3, Division 5
of the Elections Code of the State of California, the legislative body of said City,
or any member or members thereof authorized by such body, or any individual voter
or bona fide association of citizens, or any combination of such voters and associations,
may file a written argument, not to exceed 300 words in length, for or against said
City measure.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that, based upon the time reasonably necessary to
prepare and print the arguments and sample ballots for said election, the City Clerk
has fixed August 21, 1978, as a reasonable date prior to such election after which no
arguments for or against said City measure may be submitted to him for printing and
distribution to the voters as provided in said Article 4. Arguments shall be submitted
to the City Clerk at the City Hall, Carlsbad, California. Arguments may be changed or
withdrawn until and including said date fixed by the City Clerk.
(NOTICIA SE DA ESTE MEDIO que tendra lugar la Especial Eleccion Municipal en
la Ciudad de Carlsbad el dia 7 de noviembre de 1978, en la que serS sometido a los
electores calificados de susodicha Ciudad el siguiente proyecto Municipal):
PROPOSICION I. <iAprueban los electores calificados de la Ciudad de
Carlsbad, de acuerdo con el Arti'culo XXXIV de la Constitucion del Estado
de California, el desarrollo, la construccion, y la adquisicion de
construcciones de viviendas de alquiler controlado en sitios
esparcidos dentro de la Ciudad de Carlsbad para personas de
ingresos bajos, incluyendo pero sin limitarse a personas
mayores de ingresos bajos o personas incapacitadas de ingresos
bajos?
(NOTICIA ADEMAS SE DA que de acuerdo con el Arti'culo 4, Capvtulo 3, Division 5
del Codigo de Elecciones del Estado de California, el cuerpo legislative de dicha
Ciudad, o cualquier socio de socios de eso autorizados por dicho cuerpo, o cualquier
votante individual o bona fide asociacion de ciudadanos, o cualquier combinacion de
tales votantes y asociaciones, puede registrar un argumento escrito, que no excedera
300 palabras de largura, pro o contra dicho proyecto Municipal.)
(NOTICIA ADEMAS SE DA que, basada sobre el tiempo razonablemente necesario
para preparar e imprimir los argumentos y las balotas muestra para dicha eleccion,
el Secretario Municipal^ha fijado el dTa 21 de Agosto de 1978, como una fecha razonable
anterior a dicha eleccion despues de la que ningunos argumentos pro o contra dicho
proyecto Municipal pueden ser sometidos a el para impresion y distribucion a los votantes
como provisto en dicho Artfculo 4. Argumentos deben ser sometidos al Secretario Municipal
en el Ayuntamiento, Carlsbad, California. Los Argumentos pueden ser cambiados o retirados
hasta y incluyendo dicha fecha fijada por el Secretario Municipal.)
