de noviembre de 2010 se celebrara una Elecci6n MunicipalGeneral en la Ciudad de Carlsbad para elegir los siguientes Car-
gos:
Alcalde Termino completo de cuatro (4) aflos
Dos (2) miernbros del Terminos completos de cuatro (4) anos
Concejo de la Ciudad
Tesorero de la Ciudad Termino completo de cuatro (4) aftos
Secretario de la Ciudad Termino completo de cuatro (4) aftos
El periodo de nominacion para estos cargos comienza el 12 de
julio de 2010 y finaliza el 6 de agosto de 2010.
Si los documentos de nominacion para un miembro titular no se
presentan antes del 6 de agosto de 2010, el periodo de
presentation para dicho cargo se extendera hasta las 5:00 p.m.
del 11 de agosto de 2010 para que se presenten otros candidatos,
que no sean el titular.
Si ninguna o solo una persona es nominada para un cargo
elective, el nombramiento a dicho cargo se hara conforme lo
prescrito en la Seccion 10229, del C6digo Electoral del Estado
de California.
Las casillas electorales estaran abiertas entre las 7:00 a.m. y
las 8:00 p.m.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a General Municipal Election will be held
in the City of Carlsbad on Tuesday, November 2, 2010, for the following
Officers:
Mayor
Two (2) Members of the City Council
City Treasurer
City Clerk
Full term of four (4) years
Full terms of four (4) years
Full term of four (4) years
Full term of four (4) years
The nomination period for these offices begins on July 12, 2010 and closes
on Augusts, 2010.
If nomination papers for an incumbent office holder listed above are not
filed by August 6, 2010, the filing period shall be extended for that office to
5:00 p.m. on August 1 1 , 2010 for candidates, other than the incumbent, to
file.
If no one or only one person is nominated for an elective office,
appointment to the elective office may be made as prescribed by Section
10229, of the Elections Code of the State of California.
The polls will be open between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
