Filled ground hod pmviously been placed on this area and the results of the tests token in the compacted fill ware included in our reporkon Project No. 66-3-31D dated i)ecember 16, 1966 and ?rooject No. 69-4-14D, the first report under this project doted May 27, 1969 and the most recent dated October 27, 1970. The tesk included in this report, Nos. 84 to 176, inclusive, am numbered consecutively after those reported on October 27, 1970, and were ta&en during the period between October 29, 1970and June29, 1972. The approximate arece and depths of filled ground placed under our inspection in accordance with the approved specifications ore shown on the attzched Drawing No. 1 A, entitled “Ltication of Compacted Filled Ground.” .The grading plan used for the placement of filled ground was prepared by Rick Engineering Company. The approximate locations at which the tests were taken ore shown on Drawing No. 1 A, and the final test rest11 k am presented on pages c ’ to 5, inclwive, under the ‘Table of Test Results.” The laboratory determinations of the maximum dry densities oqd optir lum moisture contents of the major fill moteriols are presented on page 6, under the Laboratory Test &sulk. Some of the maximum dry densities shown in the “Table of Test Results’ were combinations of these. The tests mre taken during the weekly periods indicated below: Test Number Week Ending 84 to 95, inclusive October 30, 1970 96 to 113, inclusive November 6, 1970 114 to 119, inclusive July 2, 1971 120 to 125, inclusive July 9, 1971 SlOlO .17.71 - - - - - - -. - - - - - - - rroiect No. 69-4-14D La Costa Land Company -2- August 18, 1972 Test Number Week Ending 126 to 129, inclusive July 16, 1971 130 to 133, inclusive April 21, 1972 134 to 139, inclusive April 28, 1972 140 to 143, inclusive May 5, 1972 144 and 145 1 May 12, 1972 146 to 162, inclusive June 23, 1972 163 to 176, inclusive June 30, 1972 The final results of tests and observations indicate that the compacted filled ground hos been placed at 90 percent of the maximum dry density or emoter.
