Reference: Poinsettia Lane - Erosion Control
Gentlemen:
In response to your inquiry this afternoon concerning irrigation
requirements for the erosion control mix placed at Poinsettia
Lane, I contacted our subcontractor Hydro-Plant, Inc. of San
Marcos.
Mr. Garry Weems of Hydro-Plant, Inc. indicat&d that Poinsettia
Lane received Caltrans type "D" erosion control as specified.
It is a non-irrigated type mix which remains dormant until
germination brought on by winter rains. He said he would be
more than happy to send us a letter elaborating irrigation
(or non-irrigation) requirements and germination process of
the type of mix used, if necessary.
