Per conversation with the project manger Mike with Whites steel, Whites has to rebuild frames that were tacked and ready
to weld.
New tube steel had to be ordered because the dimensions varied from the actual dimensions in the field on site.
The new dimensions were given by Mike with Edge after measuring field conditions.
Fabrication of column 105A in progress, the welding of the column was missed during fabrication of the other columns;
thecolumnwillhavetobeUltraSonically testedwhentheframesarefinishedonFriday,November16,2007.
All work and welding Appears to be being done visually acceptable per AWS D1.1, AISC to the best of my
knowledge.

Whites Steel is requesting Ultra Sonic testing on Friday, November 16, 2007, @ 06:00 for the frames and column 105A.
Fabrication of the stairs is tentative to start Wednesday, November 14, 2007.
I did receive WPS's for the field welding and Weldors going to be welding on the project, the certifications appear to be
current and up-to date.
I told the shop foreman that no slugging of the weld joint is acceptable, slugging is a term that is used to fill larger welded
joint than aloud.
Only sharpie V notch filler material is allowed, no other foreign filler is acceptable per AWS D1.1 Section 5.0 on filler
metals that are acceptable.
I did call Canyon Testing @ 07:45 about UT on Friday, November 16, 2007, I left message to have Canyon Testing call
me back ASAP.
All work and welding Appears to be being done visually acceptable per AWS D1.1, AlSC to the best of my
knowledge.

Loading of the first truck for shipping to site started this morning.
I did talk to Canyon Testing @ 07:45 about UT on Thursday, November 15, 2007, Canyon Testing is working on moving
up the date one day sooner, they told me that will back later in the day to confirm.

Canyon Testing completed all the ultra sonic testing in the shop conditions on this date.
All the frames that were tested pass Ok with no rejects.
The report from canyon tested will be forward to the Dudek office San Marcos.
The structural steel fabrication is complete on this date to the best of my knowledge, only stairs and misc. items, periodic
inspections needed from this point forward.

Inspection of exterior stairs:
All welding and fabrication of the exterior stairs appear to be fabricated per submittals.
With the exception of the RFI that was submittal for the anchor bolt misplacement.
As soon as the RFI has been approved, we can fully accept the stairs for placement and
erection.
While I was in White Steel shop I had noticed that some of the steel tube was brought back to
the shop?
This steel needs to be reinspected for any changes or unacceptable damages that my
occurred during removal of the steel tube headers that did not fit the conditions, and
misplacement of the anchors.
Any steel that comes back without said inspection will be rejected without special inspection
reports.
