jreferenced project. The field density tests were done in accordance
with ASTIY1 D-1556, the sand cone method.
! The laboratory compaction test used to determine the maximum

jdry density and optimum moisture content of the base material (native
jground) was performed in accordance with ASTIY1 D-1557-70, method C.
