November 4, 2015 El Page lofi City of Carlsbad Engineering Department 1635 Faraday Avenue Carlsbad, CA 92008 Subject: Lower Pad Verification for Grading Plan No. 486-2A, Hirschkoff Residence, Project No. CDP 14-13, APN: 155-180-28, Jefferson Street, Carlsbad, CA To Whom It May Concern, On November 4, 2015, our office performed a field survey at the referenced project to determine the average elevations of the lower building pad that has been created. The results of our survey are as follows: Lower Residence Pad Approved Grading Plan Pad Elevation = 60.7 Field Measured Average Pad Elevation = 60.5 The concrete slab section to be constructed will be 8" thick concrete over 4" sand for a total of 12" (1.0') structural section. The approved grading plan structural section was 0.8', therefore the pad has been graded 0.2' lower than the approved grading plan but the finished floor remains at the same elevation of 61.50'.
