Thanks for meeting with me the other day. I understand from the meeting,
that you prefer, per design standards, a grading plan to show a 5%
minimum slope away from the house and a 2% minimum slope for drainage
swales. The proposed design shows a minimum 2% slope away from the
house and a minimum 1% slope for the drainage swales. I have no
objection to the proposed design for the following reasons.
The proposed design will adequately drain the site. The on site soils are
sandy in nature and the proposed on site infiltration should not damage the
proposed foundation. Current storm water management rules require the
site infiltration that we propose.
