Dear Mr. & Mrs. Baptie:
In accordance with your request, we have prepared this addendum to address the City of Carlsbad
memorandum, dated May 16, 2016 with regard to the impact of the proposed development on the
frontage slope removal and adjacent properties.
Based on the consistency of the bedrock material and setbacks to adjacent residences, it is our
opinion that the proposed development will not have an adverse effect on the off-site frontage
area and adjacent properties provided temporary slopes are excavated in accordance with OSHA
guidelines as recommended in the referenced geotechnical report (Page 10).
