P-674617 Page 2 of 3 1) Cut/fill transitions in the building pad should be overexcavated a minimum of 3.0 feet and replaced as properly compacted fill as indicated on the plans and preliminary geotechnical report. However, remedial grading will be required as recommended in the Preliminary Geotechnical Report and indicated on the plans. Removals are anticipated to be on the order of 4.0 feet or 18 inches below the deepest footing, whichever is greater. However, deeper removals may be necessary. Additional recommendations will be necessary during the grading phase. All fill should be keyed and benched into competent Old Paralic Deposits. 2) All fills should be observed and tested by a representative of the Geo technical Engineer. All cut slopes and temporary slopes should be by an Engineering Geologist. Additional recommendations may be necessary during the grading/construction phases. 3) The proposed biofiltration basin should be sealed with an impervious liner as recommended and as shown on the Plans. LIMITATIONS The findings and opinions presented herein have been made in accordance with generally accepted professional principals in the fields of engineering geology and soils engineering. No warranty is expressed or implied. The geotechnical reports should be considered as part of these plans. Should any discrepancies between the geotechnical report(s) recommendations and the plans occur, the geotechnical report(s) shall take precedence unless otherwise advised by the geotechnical engineer.
