The findings, conclusions and recommendations presented in our referenced report (GSI, 2000) and the report prepared by Southern California Soils and Testing, Inc. (SCS& T, 1992), are considered valid and applicable with respect to proposed grading, as shown on the current grading plans (Drawing No. 405-6A) for the subject site. The findings, conclusions and recommendations presented in our referenced report was developed with respect to the 1997 edition of the Uniform Building Code (UBC, 1997) and is therefore, also considered to be in general compliance with the California Building Code (CBC, 2001), from a geotechnical viewpoint. The conclusions and recommendations presented are professional opinions. These opinions have been derived in accordance with current standards of practice and no warranty is expressed or implied.
