RE: Certification of Pad Grade for the proposed Michael's Store with the exception of the
loading dock area due to cutback (as shown on Building 15 Foundation Plan, sheet 15-S-200;
between building grids 1 and 2), City of Carlsbad Drawing No. 409-4C, Project No. CT 0 1-09,
Grading Plans for La Costa Town Square.
To whom it my concern,
Excel Engineering performed a field survey on April 25, 2016 to confirm finish
pad grade for the referenced site. A minimum of 10 shots were taken and the finished
pad grade is as follows:

Proposed Michael's Store 339.66 339.71
The maximum deviation from design to finish pad for said pad was found to be 0.10'. The pad is
in substantial conformance with the approved grading plan.
