Hansen RCE 60223 Exp.6/30/06 Date • PRELIMINARY SEWER STUDY: This sewer study was prepared to demonstrate conformance with Volume I, Chapter 6, of the City of Carlsbad engineering standards. EDU's were estimated based upon a tentative grading & lotting study ofPA's 16 & 17 and preliminary site design ofPA's 13, 14, 15 & 21. City of Carlsbad standard loading and peaking factors were applied to calculate peak daily flow rates and Manning's Equation was used to calculate depth and velocity. All peak depths are less than O.5D with velocities above 2 ftlsec with the exception of reach 13. Table 'A' lists each reach and respective peak flow data. See exhibit 'A' for reach locations. See exhibit 'B' for hydraulic calculations.
