Dear Mr. So, Pursuant to your request, American Geotechnical has prepared this letter regarding observation and testing services performed during the grading of building pads 9 to 12 and the pool house pad at the subject development. Based on the results of our observation and testing, we certify that the pad areas stated to receive buildings 9 through 12 and the pool house were graded in general accordance with the recommendations provided in the Geotechnical Reports and Grading Plans referenced above. Based on the results of our observation and testing, it is our opinion that the subgrade in the areas stated to receive the basement retaining walls for buildings 9 through 12 were compacted in general accordance with the recommendations provided in the report and grading plans referenced above. At this point in time, these areas are suitable to begin the excavation of the foundation of the basement retaining walls. The findings of our observation and testing including as-built changes and relative compaction results for the basement wall areas will be presented in our final grading report that will be issued in the near future.
