WATER SYSTEM
On behalf of the Carlsbad Municipal Water District, the report .titled Poinsettia Place Potable
Water System Analysis, dated March 25, 2011, prepared by Pangaea Land Consultanst, Inc has
been reviewed. Following are our comments:
1. Alternative 3 -Split 375 / 550 Pressure zone is acceptable. The 375 pressure zone would
apply to Buildings 1, 2, and 3. The 550 pressure zone would apply to Buildings 4, 5, 6, 7,
8, and 9. The District will waive its criteria regarding maximum number of units on a
single non-looped pipe in this case.
2. Revise Table 8 Alternative 3 to have a separate meter for each separate building and
half building as shown below.
