Testing and subsequent approval of any import source applies only to the sample provided. It is the contractor's responsibility to import materials that are consistent with the sample tested. In any case, final approval is contingent upon the actual materials as hauled to the site. These laboratory tests were performed in accordance with generally accepted standards and do not constitute engineering opinions or project control. It is the responsibility of the contractor to schedule retests or re-inspections of any areas that do not meet project specifications as a result of the attached information. TESD neither controls nor supervises the work at the site. We are not responsible for errors and omissions of the contractor, nor for the contractor's failure to keep the work on schedule or carry it out in accordance with the project plans, specifications, and all applicable codes.
