Re: Installation of Catch Basin Filter Inserts at 53 Melrose
Dear Sirs,
This letter should be used as official notification to The City of Carlsbad with regard to the installation of
Catch Basin Filter Inserts at 53 Melrose, Carlsbad, Ca. requested by Michael Josephson from D.R.
Horton.
The Land Stewards hereby confirms that Two (2) Flo Guard Plus Catch Basin Filter Inserts Part#FGP-
30C1 and One (1) Flo GUard Plus Catch Basin Inserts Part#FGP-3648F/FGP-2436F have been properly
installed per Kristar Enterprises, Inc. specifications.
Filters shall provide two internal high-flow bypass locations that in total exceed the inlet peak flow
capacity. Filters shall provide filtered flow capacity in excess of the required "First Flush" treatment flow.
Units shall not impede flow into or through the catch basin when properly sized and installed.
Please contact The Land Stewards if additional information is needed.
