to the Prelinnnary Geotechnica, Investigation dated June 2, 2005 (Reference) for the La Costa UJ
Ridge project, located in the City of Carlsbad, California. —
PSE has reviewed the current 40-scale rough gradmg plan for La Costa Rtdge prepared by Davld —
Evans and Associates (Sheet 3 of 5). Mtnor changes in pad elevations (+/- , foot) «d a new ^
base topography have resulted in a change in the number of cu«/fi,l transttion lots present. Plate W
1, attached, reflects these changes.
B is PSE's opmion that from a geotechnica, perspective, the destgn changes reflected i, the cur-
ren, gradtng p,an are m-ntaal. Accordingly, fne cond,tions and recommendations ,ven ,n the
referenced report rematn valid in respect to the proposed grad,ng ptac, unless special,, super-
seded herem. All grading shou.d conform to the Ctty of Carlsbad requirements and to the rec-
ommendations presented in the referenced report.
