In accordance with your request, LGC Geotechnical, Inc. has prepared this letter to provide geotechnical release
for Lots 51, 52 and 80 at Westcott, Villages of La Costa in the City of Carlsbad, California.
Reprocessing of the building pad areas within the subject lots was performed by the contractor in general
accordance with the geotechnical recommendations presented in our referenced report. The upper portion of the
building pad was reworked. Where tested, finish grade soils were compacted to a minimum 90 percent relative
compaction at or near optimum moisture content.
This letter is intended as a release for construction of the subject lots from a geotechnical perspective, in order to
allow building permits to be obtained.

In accordance with your request, LGC Geotechnical, Inc. has prepared this letter to provide geotechnical release
for Lots 48 through 50 (Model Phase) at The Oaks North Neighborhood 3.1, Carlsbad Tract 05-14 in the city of
Carlsbad, California.
Reprocessing of the building pad areas within the subject lots was performed by the contractor in general
accordance with the geotechnical recommendations presented in our referenced report. Approximately 10 inches
of the upper portion of the building pad (in the area of the building footprint plus minimum five feet beyond) was
reworked. Where tested, finish grade soils were compacted to a minimum 90 percent relative compaction at or
near optimum moisture content. The earthwork operation was observed & tested on a part-time basis by a
representative of this firm.
This letter is intended as a release for construction of the subject lots from a geotechnical perspective, in order to
allow building permits to be obtained.
