RE: Certification of Pad Grade for Pool Restroom Building of the City of Carlsbad Drawing No.
428-911, Project No. CT 15-08, Grading Plans for Carlsbad Ranch, Planning Area No. 5, Resort
Site-Phase 3
To whom it my concern,
Excel Engineering performed a field survey on February 24, 2017 to confirm
finish pad grade for the referenced site. A minimum of 5 shots were taken and the
finished pad grade is as follows:
Pad Average Pad Elevation Design Pad Elevation
Pool Restroom Bldg. 212.21 21225
The maximum deviation from design to finish pad for said pad was found to be 0.08'. The pad is
in substantial conformance with the approved grading plan.

Carlsbad Drawing No. 428-9H, Project No CT I 5-08 Grading Plans for Carlsbad Ranch,
Planning Area No. 5, Resort Site-Phase 3
To whom it my concern,
Excel Engineering performed a field survey on June 17, 2016 to confirm finish
pad grade for the referenced site. A minimum of 5 shots were taken and the finished pad
grade is as follows:
Pad Avernge Pad Elevation Design Pad Elevation
Villa 75 207.26 207.20
Villa 76 197.79 197.75
Villa 77 192.26 . 192.25
Maintenance Bldg. 211.04 211.05
The maximum deviation from design to finish pad for said pad was found tobe 0.10'. The pad is
in substantial conformance with the approved grading plan.

pad grade for the referenced site. A minimum of 7 shots were taken and the finished pad
grade is as follows:

The maximum deviation from design to finish pad for said pad was found to be 0.05'. The pad is
in substantial conformance with the approved grading plan.

To whom it my concern,
Excel Engineering performed a field survey on March 17, 2017 to confirm finish
pad grade for the referenced sites. A minimum of 7 shots were taken on the Out
Building and a minimum of 35 shots were taken on Hotel 3, the finished pad grades are
as follows:

Hotel 3 223.53 223.55
Out Building 223.78 223.80
The maximum deviation from design to finish pad for said pad was found to be 0.10'. The pad is
in substantial conformance with the approved grading plan.
