This is to report the results of a field density test taken in base material placed in the street
opposite 2533 Navarra Drive, La Costa South Unit No~ 1 in Carlsbad, Cal:ifornia.
The test was token on April 23, 1974 and the results are presented as follows:

LABORATORY TEST RESULTS
The maximum dry density and optimum moisture content of the base material as determined by
theA.S.T .M. D 1557-70 method, that uses 25 blows of-a 10 pound rammer falling from a height
of 18 inches on each of 5 layers in a 4 inch diameter 1/30 cubic foot compaction cylinder, are
presented on the following page.
