The subgr-ade tests were taken in the upper six inches below finished subgrade during the period between October 1, 1973 and October 5, 1973, and the bqse course tests were taken during the period between. October 9, 1973 and October 17, 1973. The approximate locations at which the te~ts were taken and the final test results are presented on pages 3 to 10, inclusive, under the '!fable of Test Results." The laboratory determinations of the maximum dry densities and optimum moisture contents are presented on page 11, under "Labor- atory Test Results." Some of the maximum dry densities shown in the "Table of Test Results" were combinations of these.
