In response to the Third-Party Geotechnical Report Review dated September 27, 201 7.
Project No. 8324.1, Permit Numbers GR2016-0055, 0056, 00579, here is the additional
information requested.
1. We have reviewed the grading plan sets for the single family residences on
Lot 20, 21 and 22 prepared by Kappa Surveying & Engineers and the
building plan sets dated August 3, 2017 for the single family residences on
Lot 20, 21 and 22 prepared by HTK Structural Engineers and find that from a
geotechnical perspective; the foundation design presented therein conforms to
the required specifications in our UPDATE TO Preliminary Soils
Investigation and Report of Compacted Filled Ground -Addendum I dated
July 31. 2017.
A representative of this company must inspect the foundation excavations
prior to placement of forms and reinforcing steel to insure that adequate depth
has been achieved. Our recommendations are based upon on the soil type
encountered and do not take into consideration the proposed bearing load.

2. A representative of our firm will be onsite for observation and testing during
grading and construction including retaining wall backdrain and backfill.
