OPERATIONAL PLAN AS required by the City of Carlsbad RMHP 96-01 .. ' I I I I I I I I I I I I I I 'I I I I II The management and its assignees have the duty to execute this plan in the event of flooding or the threat of flooding. 1. Management or its assignees shall notify all Residents (see exhibit 1 )in the flood plain as soon as Security Personal recognize the threat offlooding.(see exhibit 2) 2. A door to door alert as well as by phone that a flood or flooding is iImninent shall be executed by Security Personal (phone # 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 43 8-4616)with the main concern for the safety of all Residents. Residents shall be informed to move to higher ground, ( see exhibit 3) such as the clubhouse or administration office; a notice will be given to the residents by Security that all gas service to the affected area will be shut off by Security and maintenance personal until the emergency has passed. Shut off valves located at the gas meter in the rear of the individual lots (see exhibit 1 )will be closed. When the emergency has passed the management, Security or its maintenance personal shall give the all clear to those residents who have taken shelter on the property. The gas service shall not be turned on until ail safety inspection have been completed as set forth by the California Public Utility Commission and the DepartInent of Transportation, Pipeline Safety Regulations Part 191. . Drinking water and first aid materials shall be furnished at the locations within the community, for a time period to maintain the residents for a period of four to six hours. ' In the event of a sustained flood of greater than four to six hours, Rancho Carlsbad will provide transportation for the residents at its evacuation centers to the flood center defined by the City of Carlsbad and the Red Cross as being the ptoper evacation center for their location.
