On October 27, 1980, our field engineer tested the in-place density of trench backfill at 2 points designated by you. Testing was in accordance with the methods prescribed by ASTM D1556-74. Appendix A summarizes the results of our field testing. Representative samples of the soil encountered were taken to our laboratory and moisture-density curves established in accordance with ASTM D1557-70, Method A.
